Japan House - Werewolf
Hey everyone, how's it going?
I'm here to present my new personal project. In this environment, I changed the artistic style I'm used to and went for a more realistic approach.
To explain a bit about the story I wanted to tell. It's set in Japan, specifically in a countryside house where a artist lives and on a cold night, he was painting his latest piece. In his mind, beyond the thoughts of the final details needed to complete his artwork, a new focus of thought began to emerge a desire, a longing for the creature he was painting to become real. This thought completely consumed him. He kept painting, and his desire only grew stronger. And whether by a twist of fate or because it was such a pure wish, what he wanted... Unfortunately became reality.
This project served as a way to study Physically Based Lighting and post-processing in Unreal in greater depth.
These beatiful paintings on the wall are actual artworks that my brother Alan Cassiano, produced, and they fit perfectly into the 3D environment I created. The werewolf painting I made myself using substance painter.
